Matteo Cairoli is the latest addition to the driver lineup that Lamborghini Iron Lynx will put at the wheel of the Lamborghini SC63 LMDh in the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Cairoli will compete in IMSA with Caldarelli and Grosjean from the 12 Hours of Sebring, scheduled for March 13th-16th, and in the next three rounds of the Endurance Cup (the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, the 6 Hours of Indianapolis, and the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta).
However, Matteo Cairoli’s season will start at the 24h at Daytona, at the end of January, when the driver from Como will be at the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2 of Iron Lynx, making his debut with the car, whose manufacturer is located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, while continuing the collaboration with the team Iron Lynx after racing with it during 2023 in the LMGTE class – where he almost won the championship – of the European Le Mans Series.
Matteo Cairoli

The tests we did in Austin were exactly what I needed to find confidence with the car and to get ready for the next year. I’m already ready…”
