The partnership between Matteo Cairoli and Lamborghini Squadra Corse has come to an end

With the new season approaching, the contract between Matteo Cairoli and Lamborghini Squadra Corse has been terminated, ending the collaboration that defined Matteo’s 2024, after he joined Lamborghini Squadra Corse in December 2023.

Alongside the Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer, Cairoli faced new challenges that gave him the opportunity to compete with an LMDh class car – the Lamborghini SC63 – for the first time, making his debut in the top class of IMSA SportsCar Championship, one of the most competitive championships on the world motorsport scene, with Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The driver from Como also had the chance to participate for the first time with a prototype at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, an experience that enriched his already extensive resume.

The Lamborghini chapter has now been closed and Matteo continues his preparations for the 2025 season. His plans for the upcoming year will be announced shortly.

Matteo Cairoli
“I want to thank all the people I met during my time at Lamborghini Squadra Corse. 2024 represented a challenge for my career, and it was an intense 12 months in which I truly gave my best and where I feel I have grown as a person and as a driver. I can’t wait to get back on track for a new chapter in my career, which will be announced soon.”
